All Police Clearance documents must come back to Homesit directly from the Ministry of Justice or a copy immediately be sent to us - not just to the prospective house sitter. All references must have current email and/or phone contact details, as we check references carefully.
There are horror stories out there where home and pet owners have taken on an unknown quantity because the sitter arrangement was "$$ free", only to return home to the worst nightmare imaginable. The old adage of "you get what you pay for" still applies.
