Welcome to Homesit North Shore & Rodney where the security and welfare of your home, pets, stock are at the heart of our service. We know that peace of mind is of utmost importance when you entrust your property, pets or stock to our Homesit service. And that’s why we invest our time to ensure that, although you may not have used us before, we are not strangers and neither are our sitters. First off, we personally visit every potential new client and meet you, your pets (and /or stock) in your own home. This way we can understand what sort of sitter might best suit your situation. Each home is different, each client has different needs and so have their pets or stock, whether it’s a goldfish, a pedigree cat, a Jack Russell, a Newfie or a dozen llama- it’s not just size that matters it’s personality! We know which of our sitters will be best suited to meet your expectations as not only are they police checked and reference checked, but personally interviewed so we know they will be able to deliver a service we will be proud of. At this first client visit you have the opportunity to ask any questions you have and fully understand what you are purchasing (so there are no surprises) and you get to know who will be personally managing your booking. At this point the comprehensive paperwork will also be discussed with you. This no-obligation first visit has meant that 99% of my clients have had a perfectly matched sitter at first introduction! During the course of a booking Homesit and the sitter are in contact and this is viewed favourably by our clients as not only does this provide assurance that sitters are in residence but also confirms that all is going smoothly. Sitters know that Homesit is there to provide advice and guidance should the need arise – which it seldom does. Homesit North Shore & Rodney and the sitters it places with you are covered by public liability insurance. So what does this hands-on management service cost? Prices range from $15 - $30/day or part of a day. The actual figure will depend on the number and type of pets and/or stock that need to be taken care of. There is a minimum fee of $150 and a generous discount for days booked in excess of 28. And, as Homesit provides consistently high levels of service no matter what the time of year, we charge a flat fee, no surcharges are applied at particularly busy times.
